Hi I’m Christine and I am here to tell you a little bit about my story.
Before I became a Personal Trainer, I worked in various roles but felt deep down that these jobs were not my passion. I always knew that the health and fitness industry was where I wanted to be, so I signed up at TAFE and completed my fitness qualification. I have always been so passionate about training other people and helping them achieve their goals.
My own fitness journey began when I was training at Fitness First, but wanted to push myself more so I looked into other methods of training and found CrossFit. I joined CrossFit in Miranda and went on to become a coach there. The opportunity then came up for me to return to Wollongong and I started working as a coach at CrossFit JAK and Anytime Fitness. Both of these workplaces allowed me to grow new skills as a Personal Trainer and learn about the different aspects of fitness including strength and conditioning, Weightlifting, HITT, gymnastics and Pre and Post Partum Fitness. With this knowledge, I am able to adapt my programming to suit my clients needs and fitness levels. During this time, I also became a mother to my beautiful son, Chayton. I kept myself active throughout my pregnancy.
Throughout my 7 years of Personal Training, I have had the pleasure of working with people from all walks of life who I have helped gain fitness and confidence in the gym. I have seen my clients get fitter and stronger, but a lot of them struggle with their diet. Many of my clients ask for advice, but as this is not my area of expertise, I was unable to help them. I was speaking to my best friend Kim who is an Accredited Practising Dietitian about this missing link and it was from here that we put our heads together and thought “why don’t we combine our skills?”. After many discussions and hard work, BURN was created.
I truly love what I do, and as the saying goes, ‘choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life’

We don’t just want to be a coach that gives you an exercise or meal plan and see you in 4-6 weeks. We want to be your support network and follow you through this journey all the way to success.
We provide weekly accountability check-ins as part of our program to ensure you are not doing this alone.
RESULTS
Results – when a combination of healthy eating and exercise is implemented, success happens.
An individual may see some results through diet or exercise alone, however it’s the combination of both, that provide the very best results.
We want you to achieve better health outcomes in every way possible which is why our program offers both simultaneously.
NOURISH
Nourish – Loving and nourishing your body is something that does not come easy. Calorie restriction and over exercising is sadly what a lot of people feel they have to do, in order to be ‘healthy’. We want to help you find a true healthy relationship with food/exercise, break diet cycles/restrictive behaviours, and know what it really feels like to nourish your body and soul.
